Blogs Derek's Tax Blog My First TV Appearance
I got a phone call this afternoon from a produce of a local TV show asking if I could be a guest for a segment they were doing on tax increases. Needless to say, tax increases is a subject that I have some interest in. The show is called Red White and America. The hosts are John Renfrow and Michael Rotchadl. You can watch my episode tonight at 10 PM on their web site or locally on channel 22.
The producer learned about me from my efforts on this blog and other postings on my web site. It was an interesting experience for me. The fact that I was asked to participate shows the reach social networking and the new media.
Update: The show was on last night, but not on channel 22. It was on another community access channel. However, it was an earlier episode and not the one we taped last night. I either got some bad information or there were technical problems that prevented them from airing the show last night. I have an email out to the producer to find out what happened with the show, when I get the update I will post it here.
